Collective exchange: domain/legal lane

Second full-packet review, 25 September 2026. This records an actual exchange with the mathematical and runtime adversarial lanes, alongside independent inspection of the integrated manuscripts and public-facing documents. It is internal adversarial work, not outside peer review.

Verified repairs and retained counterexamples

The domain suite now has 20 passing tests, independently rerun here. The original adversarial script was rerun against the repaired oracle: unequal crossed contrasts 1 and 3 now produce average contrast 2, exact additivity false, and a null exact additive coefficient. The biology prose states conditional mean-zero errors and exhibits the observationally equivalent zero-causal-effect countermodel. Its supported receipt scope now says additive-model identification. The legal example now specifies covered federal proceedings and applicability exceptions. Economics includes actual reliance as a further selection stage. These resolve D1–D3 and carry D4 into the implementation without erasing the original criticism.

I also independently reran all 10 ecology test methods. Their passing result supports the stated accounting and fixture boundaries, not an empirical model of human motivation. The ecology manuscript retains uniform routing, adverse regimes, missing audit capacity and common blindness. The coupled manuscript distinguishes completed assertions, reliance and repair checks and does not automatically renew reliance after repair.

Questions sent across lanes

To the runtime lane: do the public quickstarts imply that the receipt runtime, coupled allocation simulator and attention ecology compose into one enforcing service? What remains of the export/implementation blocker, and what is the minimal honest public boundary?

The runtime reviewer found no unsupported common-engine claim in the coupled manuscript/README: nonconformance to the adjacent runtime is explicit, and synthetic mappings and unpaid audit beliefs are disclosed. That reviewer reported actual export attacks on untracked files, outside-source symlinks, unmanifested archive members, and ZIP symlink metadata, plus a coupled-ledger tolerance attack. Those belong in release acceptance, not in a disclaimer that pretends the attacks cannot matter to a research artifact. At this exchange, some repairs were still being finalized. This lane does not certify the final archive bytes from the source review.

To the mathematics lane: could readers wrongly combine bounded-credit routing, group invariance and funded audits into a global cooperation guarantee? Are the ecology probability ceiling and mean-field local threshold still appropriately conditional? I relayed the resolved biological/authority findings and the further reliance-selection counterexample.

The mathematical reviewer agreed that no explicit global cooperation guarantee was claimed, that the local Jacobian is sound for its separate stated map, and that the component premises must not be silently composed. That lane requested the nonnegative feedback parameter and probability-domain assumptions beside the attention ceiling. Both lanes independently noticed that completed correction can grant author credit even when clean unaudited claims earn none. The math lane is preserving a concrete example and proposes a strategic incentive experiment; neither lane treats that openly unmodeled behavior as a reason to suppress the honest research seed.

Joint interpretation needed in the final release

The component premises do not compose automatically. The receipt runtime trusts actor/control and authority declarations. The coupled model takes a perceived audit probability as exogenous, without funding audits. The ecology delivers a perfect audit oracle when stipulated access and capacity permit it. The separate audit model has imperfect detection and an enforceable loss. They expose different boundaries. Reading their favorable results together cannot supply a single system with authenticated independent actors, real sanctions, truthful science, funded monitoring and reliable notification.

That is a fruitful research gap, not a reason to block a public seed. An adapter or future combined model should name which assumptions are replaced, which remain external, and what happens when they disagree. For example, a biology check can be a valid additive-model calculation while a reliance policy properly refuses a causal interpretation. A legal operational decision can remain unsupported while publication of a synthetic citation exercise is allowed.

Recognition is not motivation evidence. The ecology assigns credit for specified events, including correction work. Its agents do not strategically manufacture defects or volunteer according to recognition utility. Repair credit can become a target for gaming, particularly when false alarms themselves create repair tasks. The manuscript already excludes staged-repair incentives and does not present a cooperation theorem. Keep that exclusion; test strategic credit creation before interpreting the loop as a human incentive design.

A quiet queue can be the wrong success signal. The ecology’s blind-control case, the biology nonidentification case and the legal deadline example all illustrate this differently. Unknown scientific defects, unreviewed causal assumptions and unhandled obligations cannot be inferred absent from a small queue. Report the ground-truth synthetic denominator in experiments and explicit unknowns in actual records. Do not make adverse findings disappear by redefining what counts as offered or unresolved work.

Static publication and operating a service have different prerequisites. A corrected research artifact does not need a fully appointed appellate body or proven human adoption before it can be discussed. It does need an honest byline, rights disposition, exact candidate, reachable responsible contact and accurate claims. Creating a live system that accepts third-party legal or sensitive disputes adds obligations that the packet has not implemented. No adversarial agent can grant those responsibilities by assent.

Position before final freeze

Support publication of the curated prototype after the final archive and repaired runtime checks, with human attribution, licensing and destination settled for the specific release. The domain/legal corrections are verified. No new scientific, causal, legal or human-adoption blocker arose in the full-packet reading. The research seed should be judged by whether readers can reproduce, challenge and improve its scoped claims. It is not yet evidence for operating a review commons or transferring real scientific or legal authority to agents.
